reg. divorce....mutual consent...

hai,
I want to know that a couple willing to get a divorce on mutual consent can make a single lawyer for both of them to represent the proceedings??? Is there any precedence???

RESPECTFULLY I DONT AGREE.EVEN FOR MUTUAL CONSENT DIVORCE SEPARATE LAWYER FOR PETIONER AND RESPONDENT IS REQUIRED. AT ANY STAGE THERE MAY BE CLASH OF INTERESTS.
