Is there any age limit for entrance/ of being a high court

(Querist) 24 May 2021 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir, I was taken admission in LLB Class 1995 at the age of 36 years under PRS University Raipur Chhattisgarh, Due certain unavoidable circumstances I was unable to complete the course and going to complete LLB next year 2022.I wanted to practice in High Court of Chhattisgarh (Bilaspur).
I heard that Bar Concile conducts a entrance exam for High Court Advocate?

To me, no age limit. It requires a minimum of 5 years of practice in civil courts to become a High Court lawyer and be in practice.

You can practice in high court after enrollment. Thereafter you can appear and pass the bar exam in two years.

After completion of your LL.B. course enroll yourself with State Bar Council, start practicing as an advocate and take All India Bar Council examination, there is no age limit for enrollment / practice / examination.
Best wishes.

You may complete the LL.B examination, come out successfully.
After that get yourself enrolled as an advocate in the respective state bar council.
Once you have enrolled as an advocate you may start practicing in the court of your choice except supreme court.
However you will have to clear AIBE within two years from the date of registration at the state bar council.
