authenticating and verifying documents.

(Querist) 27 April 2021 This query is : Resolved
Hello.

The office where I have to file an application says that I have to duly authenticate and verify all the documents. What is the procedure for that? Will writing certified to be true copy on photocopied documents and signing below it suffice?
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 28 April 2021
Submit self-attested copies and produce originals when required.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 28 April 2021
Yes, write " true photocopy " and put your signatures.
Sankaranarayanan (Expert) 28 April 2021
Nothing more to be added yes follow accordingly
kavksatyanarayana (Expert) 28 April 2021
Nowadays to be enclosed are all self attested copies for most purposes.
Trivendra Kumar Sharma (Expert) 29 April 2021
Superscribe "Self attested True Copy", followed by your signatures & date preferably in blue colour ink so that such copy is distinguishable.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 21 May 2021
You can make an endorsement stating 'true copy attested' on all the documents in order to authenticate the same as per the instructions.
