(Querist) 11 December 2020 This query is : Resolved
I have done the registration of my flat but later I come to know that in sale deed and in stamp duty e-challan their was one letter mistake in address instead of SURYODAYA it is written as SURODAYA this is building name would it create any issue in future. All other details are correct even in Index 2 of registration page building name is correctly written in marathi language.

Thanks in advance for giving me your valuable time

Hello,

You have correctly mentioned the property details in registered document so it is not necessary to make correction.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 11 December 2020
Merely spelling mistakes in buildings name makes no problem or effect on deed whereas
building name and other particulars are mentioned correctly in marathi language in deed.
Isaac Gabriel (Expert) 11 December 2020
In this case, no correction deed is necessary since the spelling mistake in noway alters the nomanclature or meterial defects.

Yes. It is not a problem.
P. Venu (Expert) 12 December 2020
Yes, such mismatches need not be any problem. Please note that it is common that proper names in vernacular could have slightly different spelling when written in English.

I endorse and appreciate opinion and advise of experts.
