Getting back documents produced by opposite party

The suit was for specific performance of agreement for sale. The plaintiff produced original deed belongs to the defendant which he procured by fraud. Suit dismissed as not contested by the plaintiff. Can defendant apply and get back the deed produced by the plaintiff from the court?

No,you can not get original document submitted by plaintiff .It is the plaintiff who can get .you can get only certified copy of document .

Sir defendant is the owner of the deed document and it is in his name also. So why don't he ask the court for it to give him?

Documents submitted with the court are part of court file. Can get certified copy.

Can get duplicate copy from Registrar office.

plaintiff procured the deed with the help of a drunkard relative of the defendant? Defendant need to file new suit for the recovery of this documents from the plaintiff or he can apply by way of a Interlocutory application in suit.
