False dv charges

Respected Lswyers,

My brother's wife lodged a false FIR on me under IPC307. Post police verification they found that I was out of town that day as I am living in different state.
Now she lodged a DV case on me however I am living in different state since she was not married.

Now I need to travel out of country, do you see any consequences?

What is the opinion and advise of your lawyer, if you have already engaged.
However, if not engaged so far, you have no alternative but to seek professional services of a local prudent lawyer to defend your interest and claim compensation for damages and/or defamation case for slapping frivolous case(s) upon you.

DV complaint case is civil in nature although filled in the court of judicial magistrate. You can always leave country after engaging lawyer to represent you in your case in the court. You need not be present on each date of the court proceedings and get exemption from personal appearances from the court.
