Need to form an association of employees...help needed

(Querist) 29 August 2018 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir / Ma'am...

We need to form an association with approx 300 employees working in Central Govt. We just need this association to fight for some common cases in various court of Law as we are facing the Jurisdictional issue(s) in every court.

Please Advise how to proceed....

Regards...

As per details available in two of your queries in the Forum section, you belong to BSNL, which consists of lakhs of employees on its roll, not merely 300 employees, and also have strong staff unions and associations. So, the question of forming another association is not understood.

Secondly, BSNL is not a Central Government department, but a Public Enterprise with its employees having no status of Central Government employees.

So, better discuss, what is your real problem for which solution is desired, rather than raising any baseless academic type of query.

The forum for redressal of grievances of Central Government employees is the Central Administrative Tribunal. A group of employees can file a common application. It is not necessary that they need to be registered or constituted as an association or union.

We need to contest in court for a common cause to have Government status for some constitutional issue....so, we need to form an association for the same.

No Association is needed for this.

By forming an Association and then filing case on Association name you are complicating the matter.

If you have already decided that you need to form an association, it is your sweet discretion!
