(Querist) 12 January 2018 This query is : Open
I went to the highcourt in service matter to the high court with the assistance of legal aid.decission announced 9 years ago. But,I have not yet taken the judgement copy.Do I have possibility to appeal to the supremecourt now.what is the proceedure to get the certified copy of the highcourt judgement.
Vijay Raj Mahajan (Expert) 12 January 2018
The time limit to file SLP in civil matter in the Supreme Court of India against the order of the High Court is 90 days, and after 9 year the time limit is already over for filling SLP in the Supreme Court of India.
The Certified copy of the judgment can be applied by you in the copying branch of the High Court by paying required Court fee for the same and get it. The case number, date of decision and bench deciding the matter should be known to you along with the title of the case.

Nothing further to add.

Well advised by expert Mr. Vijay Raj Mahajan, I agree.
However, if you were satisfied with the judgment of High Court for 9 years, what made you to file SLP at this stage, go on long sleep.

For a common man and being an un employ,is it possible to approach to supremecourt within 28 days.I urged for justice for a period of 15 years in the lower courts.Atlast,I was taken legal aid assistance to process the matter. But,Unfortunately, the panel legal aid Advocate not represented the case properly and ignored.Eventhough, the W.P.Was dismissed information was not given to me.Atleast,is there any hope to condone the delay of the Hon'ble Supremecourt on humanitarian grounds. The Justice denied and justice delayed on my part.Kindly, guide if possible in clear path to condone the delay reasons in the court for appeal.

Your main question as to whether SLP can be filed in the SC has already been answered by Expert Shri Mahajan supra. He has clearly advised that the time limit to file SLP in the SC is 90 days from the date of the order of the HC, which has expired long time ago. The order passed by the HC is final.
