Respected sir, Our mother got a D-form patta land in a village in Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh in 1982. She got pattadar passbook and title deed for the same. In the Pattadar Pass book in one column shown as d-patta. I have two sisters waiting for marriage. We have no other property at any place in the world. We have no own house or site also. We are living in a rented house. I am doing private job. One sister is doing private job. other sister is waiting for a job. Can you suggest a good solution for us to sale the d-patta land? We are in much need of money. It is our humble request please be kind enough to give a solution. with warm regards... Y.V.Ramana Murthy

D-form patta is a conditional patta. It is only heritable and not alienable. You can only enjoy the property, but cannot sell. If you voilate the conditions mentioned in the patta, the govt can take back the land given to you.
