sir,

An lady died before 7 months of marriage. But her parents reported it suicide and it is closed U/s 174. After 2 months now it is deemed to be murder. whether we can renew the case.
If so, Help me.

Certainly we can reopen the case and investigate the true reason for death.

well any how the matter can be opened at any time if some new fact comes to the knowledge of investigating agency then certainly they can proceed with the investigation and can file supplementary challan in the court.

all depends upon the facts and circumstances of the case.

if possible post the exact facts and subsequent events which led to fresh investigation.

It is meant that within 7 years of marriage , the suspicious death should be presumed that the death due to dowry harassment. what about the inquest of sub-collector rank. depending on the facts and circumstances of the case. approach the concerned High Court.

It should be read within 7 years of marriage.
If the police do not take any action then you have an option to file a private PRC, and the procedure under Sec. 202 has to be followed and there after the rest as contemplacet under Cr.P.c
