Kindly define

1WHO ARE MEANT BY DEPENDENT PARENTS AS DEFINED IN THESE ACTS.I.E ANY CRITERIA FOR DEPENDENCY

2.WHETHER CHILDREN NEED NOT BE BELOW 25 & CAN BE GIVEN SHARE ,EVEN IF THEY ARE EARNING

Madam Sreelata,
1) You must have to prove the parents have got no other sources of income for their maninance and they are soly dependant on you.
2)If the childeren are earning ,they are debarred of getting share either sons or daughter. sons are only eligible to get a share in the above benifit up to 18 years of age .

Son – Till he starts earning or attain the age of 25 years, which is earlier .Son suffering from any permanent disability of any kind (physical or mental), irrespective of the age and minor brothers up to the age of becoming a major
Daughter – Till she starts earning or gets married, irrespective of the age limit, which ever is earlier. Irrespective of the age divorced / abandoned or separated from their husband / widowed daughters and dependent unmarried / divorced / abandoned or separated from their husband /widowed sisters.
