How can i get details of proceeding of case till date

I am facing divorce case, I am staying in a different city from where case is filed.
till now, wife and me have not appeared together after medition and consuelling.
day i am present she would not turn up and when she is present i am not there.
now my lawyer is saying next date is evidence stage, till now apart from WS by her and me , there is no statement made or cross examination done.
How can validate if there was any processding in my absense.
I understand there is court dairy which provide details of case, what is legal term for such records and how can i get it.
I doubt my lawyer is not informing me everything.
For example after last date which was one month back, he has told me new date is till not informed by court and it is normal process
also he want me too produce all evidence before court even before girl make statement or provide her evideence

If you are believing your advocate, you can apply for the certified copy of the entire order sheet of your case. You will get it.

Yes from the certified copy of the whole order sheet you can get idea of what has been happening till date.
For the latest date you can search from the Cause List.

Can a non lawyer request ie respondent make application for certifed copy of roznama or he would require his lawyer to do that.
If application is made, is it provided on same date or there is time lag between application and delivery of roznama.
My criminal case is starting on 14th in criminal court, family court is also in same compound. So i would request the same on that date.

You state you are facing a divorce case.That means your wife is the petitioner and you are respondent in that case.The case must be bearing a number.
You need to produce oral evidence only after
oral evidence is over.
But documents your wife might have relied in her petition for her case support must have been filed along with her petition or a time might have been sought to file them on date of issues.
Like wise you might have responded to the petition by a reply technically named written statement,W.S.(for short)and you must have also filed documents you have to support your version of the case or must have taken permission to file them on date of Issues.
In my advise you should visit court premises a day before case listed date and apply for an inspection of case file and read the entire order sheet to grasp how your case has progressed so far and what is to go now.

You as party can move for certified copies of daily order sheet(which Mr.Sethi named Rojnamcha)but who shall identify your signature.Generally it is clerk of a lawyer who deal with copy and office work and not the lawyer himself.
Application for copies are serialized and are accordingly prepared on first come first serve basis but now a days every where photo state machines are there,hence there may or may not be time lag.
You can request for same date.

If your case is at Delhi, a bribe paid to the court staff can get you "kachi copy", in which the photocopy of any court document taken will be cut off, or partially destroyed and within few minutes you can get this document. If you apply for Certified copy, you will have to wait for a week, and if you do inspection, you will not be able to understand all the court language, for example "PE" = Plaintiff's evidence. Also without your Advocate, the court will not be able to permit you to do legal things, being Advocate will dislike.
However to get Kachhi copy, you may get even without knowledge of your Advocate, only thing is you should be willing to pay reasonable bribe.
