Can a daughter get a home loan to buy her father's house?

Yes, there is no hurdles to get such loan and only thing is daughter must satisfy all the parameters which may be required by Bankers for sanction of loan.

If the daughter is married and living with her husband, prima facie Banks will not object for sanction of Housing Loan to the daughter provided all other conditions for sanction of Housing Loan are fulfilled. If the daughter is unmarried and living with father, Bank may treat as an accommodation loan at concessional rate of interest, hence will not entertain the request.

Yes, the daughter, if otherwise eligible for the loan in all aspects including the aspects as mentioned by above expert, can avail loan.
For all practical purposes, the sanction of loan will depend on the bank manager's discretion too even if all the aspects are satisfactory.
