In case of Labour law can you please the term " Back Wages "

Back wages in context to labour law pertains to the period from the date of suspension/dismissal till the date of decision implementation or a specific period given in the award/order/judgment etc. as the case may be.

Under the law back wages relates with the wages, which have been withheld or not paid on account of any order specifically affecting the wages, this may be order of termination or suspension. The terminology "Back wages" do not include any other benefit payable to an employee in terms of money unless there exist specific orders of the court concerned in this regard . Only salary/wages (Basic plus D.A.) payable to comes within the ambit of "Back wages"
