Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 06 October 2011 This query is : Resolved
Ld Counsels,

While filing an application under Order 6 Rule 7 to amend the plaint is it mandatory to file the altered version of complete plaint or is it only enough to add only the page or the paragrpah to be amended.

Kindly clarify
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 06 October 2011
The amended version of the plaint is also required to be filed.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 06 October 2011
After your application for amendment is allowed and the same is incorporated ,an amended version is desirable to be filed or as and when court orders so.
Shailesh Kr. Shah (Expert) 06 October 2011
I do agree.
Tribhuwan Pandey (Expert) 06 October 2011
Depends on court's rules. As per general rule civil you have in to incorporate the amended parts in the plaint with red ink pen where you have sought amendment.
