Mr. Satyajeet Desai is a Senior Advocate practicing in the Gujarat High Court and the Supreme Court of India for over 30 years. Mr. Desai is also the Revising Author of one of India's bestselling commentaries on inheritance and succession by Mulla on Hindu Law and on Partnership which goes by the title - S.T.Desai on Partnership. Mr. Desai comes from a family of lawyers. His grandfather, Justice S.T. Desai was the first Chief Justice of Gujarat and a Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India. T.S Desai is a graduate from Sir L.A.Shah Law College, Gujarat University, and has completed his B.Com from Ahmedabad. Mr. Desai primarily practices on the Civil side, specializing in Company, Partnership, Arbitration, Insolvency, Real Estate, Contractual and, Family law matters. He has contributed significantly to the Law Commission of India's recent report on establishing a Uniform Civil Code and to the Law Commission of India's workshop for the inclusion of daughters as equal inheritors in Hindu ancestral property. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, government bodies, corporates, educational institutions, and private individuals. He has also been a visiting faculty and a guest speaker at various educational institutions, Chambers of Commerce, Rotary Club and other public forums.
