The question was not whether PM had confidence in Mr.Chidambaram, the question was whether Mr. Chidambaram had any idea of the scam behind the 2G Spec-tram. Mr.Chidamaram might be clean person. But his decisions tackling the issue of Mr. Anna and statement on the blast out side High Court creates doubt about his integrity and governance. With the letter of the Finance Department to the PM (Note)it confers that the decision of first come first serve was a decision of whole of the Cabinet. One can reach the conclusion that the whole cabinet was responsible for the issue and the law should take its course accordingly.
