Section : Short title, extent, duration and commencement.

1. Short title, extent, duration and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1932. 2 [(2) It extends to the whole of India except 3[the territories which, immediately before the 1st November, 1956, were comprised in Part B States].] 4* * * * * * (4) The whole of the Act except 5* * * section 7 shall come into force at once, and the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette direct that 7* * * section 7 shall come into force in any area on such date as may be specified in the notification. --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 The word " temporarily " rep. by the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1935, s. 3. 2 Subs. by the A.
