Section : Dissolution of marriage not to affect status or right of children.

27. Dissolution of marriage not to affect status or right ofchildren.-A dissolution of marriage under the provisions of this Actshall not operate to deprive the respondent's children (if any) by thepetitioner of their status as legitimate children, or of any right orinterest which they would have had, according to the 1*[personal law]applicable to them, by way of maintenance, inheritance, or otherwise,in case the marriage had not been so dissolved as aforesaid.
