Section : Appointment of licensing officers.

6. Appointment of licensing officers. The Central Government may, by notified order,- (a) appoint such persons, being gazetted officers of Government, as it thinks fit, to be licensing officers for the purposes of this Act; (b) define the limits of the area within which a licensing officer shall exercise the powers conferred on licensing officers by or under this Act.
