PRESENT DUTIES:

I am right now working  as WELFARE OFFICER with M/s.Sri Sarvaraya Sugars Ltd., Coca-Cola Bottling Unit – Kesavaram, East Godavari District since 20-09-2013.

 

Reporting to the Factory Manager (UNIT HEAD)

 

The following duties & responsibilities are being performed:

 

I.     WELFARE OFFICER DUTIES:

 ALL WELFARE ACTIVITIES, which are briefed below -

v  Canteen activities monitoring.

v  FIRST – AID monitoring through the Company’s Medical

      Officer.

v  MEDICAL INSPECTION of employees by the Medical

    Inspector of Factories.

v  Monitoring ISO-9001 for Quality, 14001 for Environment and 18001 for Safety & Health.

 

II.    PERSONNEL OFFICER DUTIES:

1)    RECRUITMENT matters viz.,Scruitinizing the Applications as required by the Line Managers, recording the preliminary interview remarks on the Job profiles to supply to the Technical Interview Board, Preparation of Appointment Orders, Taking of Joining Reports, Assigned newly joined employees to the concerned Section Head after fulfilling all the necessary formalities in HR Department.


 

2)  STATUTORY MATTERS:

a)  EMPLOYEES PROVIDENT FUND  (EPF) matters.

§  Regular matters & correspondence.

§  Monthly Returns

§  Annual Returns

 

b)  Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) matters

§  Regular matters & correspondence.

§  Half-yearly Returns

§  Computerization data of ESI members as newly computerized by the ESIC.

 

3)  INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS: To assist the DGM-HR in handling matters during the Industrial unrest and try to redress the Grievances of employees at HR Department.

 

4)  LIAISONING with all Government Offices viz.,Revenue Dept., Labour Dept.,  Municipality, Sub-Registrar etc.

 

5)  CONTRACT LABOUR: Dealing matters of Registered Labour Contractors appointed under Contract Labour (R&A) Act 1970.

 

6)  INSURANCE matters viz.,(1)  Group Mediclaim Policy

(Health Insurance) (2)  Group Superanuation Scheme (GSS) (3) EGIS in lieu of EDLI of PF  Act (4) Group Personal Accident Policy (5) Group Gratuity Scheme (6) Group Term Insurance Policy and Janabheema Yojana Scheme:

 

7)   TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Induction training programs to new employees required in various departments, statutory &  ISO Training Programs as Manager(Training) for at least a team of 30 persons.

 

8)  RECRUITMENT: Joining and Exit formalities of employees.

 

9)  PERFORMANCE APPRAISALS: Collection of Appraisal Forms from Section Heads and making them tabulation for giving Increments/Promotions.

 

Ø  Computer awareness:

I am well versed with the following Computer applications.

 

Operating Systems     :  MS – Office, Windows 

viz.,M.S Word, M.S. Excel and also FOXPRO.
