Nature of job the political parties do in our society relates to the common citizen of our country so every citizen must be having a right to know whether a political party which he intends to vote for/against is acting honestly and in public interest or not. We can't continue to afford to have a corrupt Government any more. To bring transparency, every political party which has a right to form Govt. if it has the numbers, must be brought under the RTI net.

Political parties have collected money through all sources without accounting and no system to scrutinise their accounts. This enables them to keep unaccounted balck mony for use at the time of elections, horsetrading. So it is a must a check should be made on all political parties to disclose their assets and they should be brought under the ambit of RTI. Sivasubramaniapandian
