even the changed limit should not apply in rape charges.

'Abhishek kumar vatsa' has put a valid point here. Innocence is a vital scale to measure the adulthood and you won't disagree, by seeing around you, what a child as young as 3 years or say less are doing some acts whether constructive or destructive, what the old generation could not do at that age.DID you!!!

Yes,due to evolution , children are becoming mature at an early age and should be held accountable for their acts at the age of 16

YOUNGER BECAME SMARTER AND UNDERSTAND WELL WHAT THEY ARE DOING. so BE MADE LIABLE FOR THEIR ACT, ESPECIALLY CRIMINAL ACTS. WHEN ADULT RING LEADER- THEIR BOSS [THE REAL CULPRIT] USING THEM AS PAWN.

The very purpose of Juvenile is not only to punish but also to protect. What would happen in those case wherein they are harassed at an age of 17yr? In place of reducing the age, an exception should be added for rare cases of brutality which the courts may consider on case to case basis.

Technological advancement is giving lot of exposure to children these days. So they very well know whats right and wats wrong. By 18 years hez capable of running and maintaing a family. Hez no more a juvineile. Unto me I wud even agree if that’s being reduced to 13.
