In my openion, rather, there should be debate on abrogation of nomination facility since government is spending huge public money on them, who don't have political interest/inclination nor they can participate in the law making. Thanks jayanta sarkar

Is there any player in the world having 100 centuries except sachin. Answer is no. Perhaps controvercy is motivated by politics but our Sachin should not be dragged into such a unhealthy debate & controvercy.

Judiciary acts within its boundaries and let the legislature to do its own work, when constitution has already empowered them for the same. When Sachin`s achievements are rewarded by nation in such manner then nothing just for intereference therein.

Absolutely no, Also the question itself dosnt arise because he has been nominated by the President of India under eminent personalities quota and hence the question of interference of the Courts dosnt arise at all.

There are so many experts who can give valuable thinktank for Indian legislation, they are not getting nominated and person like sachin who is professional in cricket and only money earner, selfish is getting nominated. this is worth condemned. Why dont you nominate persons like anna hajare, kiran bedi, arvindbhai etc.

In case the Court interferes in the nomination, it can only be said to be overreach on the part of the Court. The scheme of the constitution does not contemplate interference of Courts into affairs of Parliament.

the validity of appointment is exclusively rests with the president and the removal and dismissal is rest with rajya sabha speaker. ex officio chairman and resolution of members of committee.

What has Sachin done to the Public? He played for the nation & he got paid well for the same. Did he spare for the public?? Did he retire & made way for others to come in?? There would me more & more sachins in the nation, not everybody has the luck to get in... Padmashri for Sachin will lose its honour if given to people like this...

Judiciary need not to interfere in parliamentary affairs. Constitution allows such nomination.

Please read the word "courts" in place of "SC" in my last post.

Interference by SC in the election process without any sort of irregularity noticed in the process of nomination can merely be a case of interruption in democratic electioneering process and against the Constitutional provisions.

It is not the function of the Court. Court should be more concerned about judiciary
