After amendment in Apprentices Act :- Every Employer need to formulate own policies for recruitment of Apprentice but is there any judgement for 50% of their the apprentice need to appoint. If any judgement or circular there kindly share.
Valuable communication...Whereas,appropriate OM from the competent will be required duly indicating the Rule which has undergone the said change.This information will be helpful for implementation purposes.
This is good change or amendment as it will help the apprentice to give his best which will help the organization and company's to achieve it target and goal and to hire quality person. But are there any controls in place to safe guard the apprentice to harassment of mgmt. As it is normal practice when compulsion is made then other methods are used for not hiring or taking apprentice on payroll. And what about people working on contract for years?
In the earlier days, 50% posts are provided to Apprentices. But, in the recent bill, no such provision was made. Now that anomaly is corrected. It is good for the Apprentice that would allow some of them to continue in the establishment where they do Apprentice.
