its funny that the rich politicians get a say in the matter and not the common man, you are gonna tax the common man after all. i totally agree with norbu lama ji with what he has written.
slowly yet steadily justice will become too expensive for the poor.

Delivery of justice is constitutionally free as article 14 of the constitution provides equality before law. If fee is charged, the question of paying capacity comes into picture and there ca not be equality before law since a hand to mouth person can not be finacially at par with a financially sound person. Charging of fee also gives an impression that you have to pay for justice. Feee charged is certainly not adequate to meet court's running expenses and is so meagre in comprison to actuals that it can be easily dispensed with provided there is such desire. Well, if it is to discourage false litigations there can be other means such as punitive/exemplary pecuniar punishments. EVERY ONE CAN BE EQUAL BEFORE LAW ONLY IF NO FEE IS CHARGED BY COURTS FOR DELIVERING JUSTICE.

Justice to common man is a day dream in the present judicial structure of league in India. However no court fees may be lucrative for advocates since the advocates fee paying capacity of clients may increase due to reduction in court fees. nothing more is likely to happen in Meraa Bharat Mahaan.

Hi Friends,
Unfortunately nobody thinks of the problems faced by a junior lawyer... hope the system is equal to everybody...

The junior lawyers cannot charge much from their clients. Sometimes they end up paying up half of their fee in the form of court fee. Even for getting a certified copy of an interim or for that matter any order, they have to pay huge amount to the clerks and peons of the court. The Sr. advocates can do this with dignity because they can charge more from their clients. This is going on under the very nose of the judicial officers. Can we have any remedy?

everyone is equal before the eyes of law and the court fees should be uniform throughout out India. Courts should be supported by the government of India.Ultimately court fee should be removed so as to give justice to all without any consideration in cash.
