there is a need to change the railway system in showing the tickets to the TTI. for an example suppose my parents had gone to visit Kumbh mela and now i want to book return ticket in tatkal for them from allahabad to jaipur at Jaipur railway station. if i got the simple ticket instead of e-ticket then how it would be possible for me to sent the ticket and the railway does not allow scan copy of this ticket.therefore, the scan, fax copy shall be permitted or there can be a facility by converting the same into e-ticket so that they can show the pnr or seat no. on their phone.

I am sorry to say that on last saturday I tried hard to book my online ticket as I opened the IRCTC website between 10-12 but finally failed to book my ticket till 12 pm.now tell you what happened,while i was about to book my ticket at last code was being searched for a long time but code has not appeared till my login time expired.
So I feel it could not help the public as thought it could be.

Dear All
I have myself experienced the corruption in booking tatkal ticket. Agent offer money to Rickshaw walas, majdoors and other workers to sleep in the night at railway station in the line for 500 to 1000 rupee. In morning agents come with ID proof of passengers and get the tatkal ticket. Even if common people go to station in the morning 4 Am/5 Am, they can not be part of the line. All people keep sleeping till 6 am and if you object to railway police for this way of line making, Police wala will not help anymore. policewala says either you go back to line or make someone to sleep for INR 500-1000.Because Police walas are offered very hefty amount of bribe by agents. Once I was at station and saw the situation and I called at 100 number. You will be surprised to know that even these nearby Police wala/choki/thana are corrupt. They also get money from agents. Agents threatens if we call 100 number again than they will kill us. This is fact. Let us see what happens to new changes.
At railway counter only passenger should be allowed to book tatkal railway ticket and there should not be any line from previous night where people keep sleeping and in the morning they will be part of the line. Policewala should make sure only those people will be in line who themselves are passengers with valid ID proofs.

The best way to curb tatkal ticket misuse is to allow booking with valid ID of a travelling person to book ticket by himself and photo snapshot in tatkal ticket of the booking person. So not a single ticket can be book in tatkal. For eticketing proof of source of transction should be checked for example Account No. Passbook or if debit card/ Credit card check the card while passenger travling. For senior citizens there should be seperate counter as well as for eticketing relative like son or daughter can book and senior citizen can carry the xerox photo ID of his relative. ID proof verification device can be given to TC on board to check relationship. This will stop entire unauthorized booking. Now that technology is very much advanced and this can be implemented. Even UID is on the way for identification.
