THE COURT CALCULATION SAYS THAT 98% CASES OF DOWRY IS FALSE. CAN ANY ONE SAY WHAT HAPPEN TO THOSE WOMEN WHICH FILES FALSE CASES & SPOIL THE LIFE OF A MAN & HIS FAMILY. I THINK THERE IS A AMENDMENT REQUIRED THAT IF THEIR IS A FALSE CASE FILE THEN THE FAMILY MEMBER OF WOMAN & WITH WOMAN GOT PUNISHMENT TO FILE FALSE CASES. BECAUSE SHE FILES THE FALSE CASES BUT THE LIFE OF MAN & HIS FAMILY IS TREMENDOUSLY IN TENSION. ALSO THE LIFE OF HIS & HIS FAMILY IS SPOILED IN EVERY WAY. IN WAY OF SOCIETY, EARNING, REPUTATION & ALSO ON PHYSICAL HEALTH OF HIS & HIS FAMILY MEMBER

India is a feminist dictatorship ... ALL laws are so horribly against men, it's shocking to see that people call India a democracy where all citizens are supposed to have equal rights? Men are the new oppressed people ... men of the world unite now !!

It sounds like Indian men need to get out ahead of the game regarding false dowry accusations. Establish a government-sponsored "no-dowry" register where men sign on to legally waive any claim to a dowry. They could do this long before marriage becomes an issue. It would protect many against false dowry claims. THis story made news in australia. THank you. John from Melbourne australia.

i would say that at present 90% of women in India are misuse the women related laws to harass men and their families. The government will sole objective of vote bank is enacting women exclusive laws. As we know that our Supreme court on various occasions have commented that women is misusing the laws which is actually meant to protect them. We find that now a days women marrys more men and from each of them exracts money in lakhs. If any men refuse part with money he is slapped with Domestic Violance act, Dowry Act etc. This has become big industry now.

Law is biased, i am a sure case of it. The laws which are meant for those who have been made are not being used and those who are not entitled to use it are using for personal gains.

In India there are thousand of cases pending were women r not getting stridhan for years and years, after giving all documentary evidances, however there are special provision of law and as per Hindu customs stridhan is own property of women and Husband can not be keep it with him, without her permisssion. Also in maintence women r getting appro 5% of maintence of husbands income after giving all income proves, however till the end of the case, it should be duty of husband to maintain his wife, if she is earning or not or she is form walthy family. So, there is serious mistakes in law, or it's implementation.
