An application filed by Malegaon Blast accused BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur was rejected by the special NIA Court yesterday. The application was seeking exemption form appearance every week. 

Special Judge Vinod Padalkar directed all accused to remain present during the ongoing trial, at least one day in a week. However, the Court granted the exemption from appearance for yesterday only. The Court further noted that the similar antics was played by the accused where she got upset about the dust in the courtroom. The judge stated that she had deliberately not taken not of the construction work that was happening in the court premises.

The accused Pragya Singh Thakur is BJP MP from Bhopal, who along with Lt. Col. Prasad Purohit and other had been charged with murder, attempt to murder, voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means and criminal conspiracy.
