Trademark Search is Free

As per public notice issued by Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CG), after the effect of new Trademark Rules (which is pending), the database of trademark will be free to all without paying any fee/charges. The notice can be view from here

This would be a great news for IP lawyers/attorney as well as to the applicant,

Agent told my father that Trademark has been registered and approved. I read this article and did a search and viola! Agent was lying.
