The Chief Minister said Himachal Pradesh was one of the few States which had implemented the recommendations of the Shetty Pay Commission on priority basis thereby delivering financial benefits worth several crores to the judges of various courts. He said the strength of judicial officers had almost doubled during the past few years and more posts were being sanctioned from time to time as per the requirement of the High Court. He said the State Government had provided a big chunk of land for the construction of the new judicial complex at Kamana Nagar to help the judiciary, lawyers and litigants pursue their legal cases more conveniently.
