Nice verdict. while perpetrators of henious crime like rape do not deserve any liniency we should ensure that no person is made victim of motivated and baseless allegations

Rightfully done by the Supreme Court, Having spoiled more than 14 yrs in the life of the accused, the complainant had been left untouched by law, similarly in cases of 498A the accused n his family suffer for no fault of theirs.
