I am sorry. The Order does touch on photographs. No politician , no party irrespective of what be spared. - Feel there need be a cap on number of insertions in a year. Only extraordinary cases need be allowed beyond that. Not the way it is happening today.

Common Cause and Centre for Public Interest Litigation - Petitioners have done a yeoman service. Common man would not have been able to do this as well. In this context, following points need be highlighted:- 1. This Order is silent on using Politician's photograph. 2. This Order has to be publicised amongst all Public watch dogs & there should be suits against Gvts all across for violations.

Advertisement for public interests or any other programmes taken up by the Government does not need any photograph of the Ministers or their subordinates, SAVE HON'BLE PRESIDENT OF INDIA. Biswanath Roy, Senior Advocate.

Two types of advertisements are there. One is issued in public interests by different departments and different ministries.others are mainly about credit claiming ads and glorifying pol parties and personalities. The later type of govt ads must be banned.
