If i have signed a vakalatnama of an advocate for a case and later realised that he is not an advocate on record in supreme court, then can i appoint some other advocate?the former advocate has not filed the case yet.can he create any problem?

If he has filed the vakalat in the court, you will have to get his no objection on the fresh vakalat (by way of endorsement) on the fresh vakalat you give to your new advocate. However, since he has not yet filed the case, you can give him a written letter informing him that you are withdrawing the brief from him and then proceed to appoint another advocate. Keep an acknowledgement receipt of your letter of withdrawal.
