I am seeking legal advice on Pirated content over internet.
I want to ask that "watching or streaming pirated movie or any contents on internet" is illegal in India? Not downloading only streaming or watching.
I have been searching it on Google from many years but some people say it is legal and some say it is not. actually some people say that only downloading pirated content is illegal not streaming or watching. And it has thrown me in a big puzzle.
That's why I want to ask you that is it really illegal to "watch or stream" pirated contents on internet in India?
Please help me out sir, it is so important for me to know that because I do not want to mess with crime.
In case someone is doing illegal act than the person who enjoy such act will also be liable for punishment.
