yes, you can take stay from court.

It is believed that you are covered by Hindu Succession Laws?

Is your husband alive?

How did the property from unmarried uncle of your Father in Law devolve upon your Father in Law say; By inheritance per applicable succession laws, WILL, partition by court, decree from court, Gift, sale etc

The uncle as in your query is Maternal or Paternal?

Confirm?

On what grounds, for what reason/purpose, why you want to proceed to get stay on sale of property of your Father in Law?

If you wsih to discuss, you may post.

Litigation may fetch you some results or owner FIL may beocme rigid and block chance of amicable settlement.

If the matter is complicated and delicate then preferably IT may be resolved with cool mind.

Genricaly Speaking; DIL, garndchildren have NO forced share in self earned/acquired/estate of FIL/Grandparent
