there is a mortgaged land and it is registered.
now do we need to register the release document also as mortgaged land is to be relesed, so does the release has to be registered? please tell the section of the registration act also.

If the mortgage deed is registered, the release is required to be registered. The proeprty is mortgaged under section 58 of Transfer of Property Act and the registration is governed by Section 17 of The Registration Act.
