phrase clarification under GST

Sir. Supply of goods or services or both. Here goods are understood , services are also understood, but both means what? Normally, even through the deemed provisions supply either should be a goods or services , so under which scenario the word "both " is used.

Dear Reddyji

With the phrase BOTH means a taxpayer engaged in goods AND services. For instance, a taxpayer engaged in selling of goods activities may also supply goods with annual maintenance services. Therefore different source of income is generated for taxpayer and different rate of GST shall be charged for each different supply.

Thank You

Hope so i was able to assist you.
