singapore embassy had given visa with a photograph error in visa and it pasted in the passport . later it was changed and given visa with the original photograph with in a week . how much he can claim in defamation act and is there any sections in passport act to claim on singapore embassy on safety and security .

Firtsly the question may arise before the Court that how much is the actual loss suffered due to such mistake & the the Court may give its decision. If the actual loss is zero then there are hardly any chances of getting a claim.
The Passport/viza department can on the other hand may prove a mistake of fact & can get the easy excuse for exit.
