hello friends
how can i check the authenticity of a lawyer?
i'm involved in a legal dispute whereas the other party has prepared forged documents to transfer my property onto his name.
is there a bureau where i can see names of advocates, like similar to chartered accountants.
because if the documents are forged maybe this lawyer is also fictitious or if he is real i want to find out and give his information to police to investigate further

CLAP! great question. you can go to bar counsil in your state and check up or visit their website and see. like this one https://www.barcouncilap.org/. where you can search with the lawyers name or his id. informing the police that info is false wont get you anything you have to prove it in court i think.
