How to know weather my FIR is registered or not

As concerned SI was not there I got a FIR copy from the writer . How to know if FIR is registered or not. I checked online status its showing FIR not registered

Did you received FIR no. ?
or maybe they have made you file a complaint letter.

in anycase you can contact the police again after few days as they have file a closer report on all the FIR, So ask for that.

I got the message as your complaint booked as crime number: 362/2019 u/s 420 406 506 IPC but when I checked online this number its showing FIR not yet registered
