how to know filed case

I asked my lawyer to file divorce case and child custody case. While filing he gave me the copy of divorce papers. But he said that he filed both these cases later... But its been 3weeks and didnt give me the copy of custody case details which filed.. now he said that the number is not given by court.. I doubt the case he didnt file on time.. How to confirm that the case is filed in court by lawyer.

under case status input your jurisdiction court and search under your desired name whom are parties of the case you came to know the case number current status of case was registered under particular court.
