i have appeared for the post of lecturer in engg. college advertised by rajasthan govt in last may 2008 ,i got selected and was in panel .pls let me know the validity period for such panel.is there any supreme court ruling?

Special Laws governing services of government engineering colleges in your state are to be seen.
However, ordinarily, panel of selectees remains valid for one year . Once it lapses, unless an appropriate order is issued by State, no appointment can be made out of said panel.---2006 AIR SCW 5051 State of Bihar v. Amarendra.
