“EMERGING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIAN MANUFACTURING EXPORTS IN LIGHT OF

US UNFAIR COMPETITION ACT (UCA)”

Date: 3rd December, 2013

Venue: Hotel Lalit, New Delhi

Dear,

Greetings from ASSOCHAM!

SUB: INVITATION (Participation is through our confirmation only)

We are pleased to share with that ASSOCHAM in association with IIFT has conducted a Study to analyze the impact of this new law on Indian exports and the likely opportunities also which may ultimately come up in the long run.

In regards to above event we wish to invite you for attending above seminar as our Guest on complimentary basis. The knowledge sharing & cases studies during the seminar may benefit to you at large.

In the light of new Unfair Competition Act (UCA) law passed in two States of US; namely Louisiana and Washington, it is necessary to debate the adverse impact if any on the exports originating from our Country. The strict enforcement of provisions of this act and the use of illegal or pirated IT may result in loss of access to the lucrative US market in the long run.

Dr. E.M.S. Natchiappan, Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry, Government of India has very kindly accepted our invitation to be the Chief Guest and Inaugurate the Seminar. He will also release the ASSOCHAM-IIFT Study report prepared under the backdrop of these developments. A copy of the Agenda and a Chapter from the Study Report is also attached.

All those interested, may confirm their participation as per following details: - Name, Designation, Company’s name/address, email Id.

THERE IS NO PARTICIPATION FEE. However, pre-registration is necessary. Participation is through our confirmed Invitations only.
