In case of an atrocitiy committed against Scheduled Castes, who are all should be informed of? If we need to send the complaints, who are the authorities we are supposed to send..??

You lodge compliant to the Police officer designated under S.C. & S.T. Prevention of Atrocities Act.

Sir,
Thank you very much for your reply. Problem is, there is an atrocity in down south district of Tamil Nadu. The police did not register the complaint even. Infact, they were helping the offenders. The victims have petitioned the District Collector. But, till date, no action is taken. Hence, we want to take up the matter further. May we write to National SC Commission etc...

You can submit your grievance to state SC commission.
