some times government fails to recognize some important issue due to pressure or fails to recognize some important point in law.

it also keeps an eye on misuse of administrative power.

Suo Moto actions taken by the supreme courts have fascinated the large attention of general public and kept activist judiciary active.suo moto action is used legally all over the common law world.In my opinion,Suo Moto is good or bad.... main part is how the suo moto power is used by the courts and  within what limits.it is very necessary for the courts to develop proper framework for its scope and execution. Without that, it leads to uncertainty and unpredictability about a court’s actions and as one American judge once said, “liberty finds no refuge in unpredictability”.
