Compromise deed

Friends,

If petitioner wife loses her divorce case and on appeal if both husband and wife want to take divorce, can they file compromise deed before High Court.

High Court will grant divorce or again it will send parties to lower Court.

Six months cooling period will be there or then and there divorce is granted.

HC will direct parties to HC mediation and take mediation report on file and can grant compromise divorce decree or send file instructions to trial Court for compromise decree sheet preparation.

Check procedure locally via your already hired advocate what is followed as per Rules of State HC.

In most of the states, MOU can be signed at HC mediation, then it sends the case to lower court alonwith directions.

6 months period is stil 2 be followed for MCD
