A.bail and challan

Hello Experts,

I have a query. I applied for AB in High court and was granted Interim bail for next 3.5 months. Now before the end of interim bail, i feel as per Law Investigating Officer has to present Challan in lower court.

Now my query is :-

1. Is it mandatory for IO to present Challan before my next AB hearing date ? cos my AB hearing is after 2 more months in HC and HC has asked me to join investigation and go for mediation.

2. Or under what circumstances IO can avoid putting up challan in lower court.

3. Also my IO did not gave any report on investigation in HC during my AB notice of motion proceedings in HC. And on the other hand he told me that i did not fall u/s 406 as no dowry was taken and that is revealed from marriage photographs and he has written this in report and has submitted the same to AAG in HC. But in High court, i was shocked to see that no report was submitted by him.

4. If challan is mandatory practice, then will it help me to get my AB absolute as now case is in lower court ? Will it happen this way ?

Pls reply to my questions.

--Thanks,
Mani
