Details of obc category

Hi ,

I am a Muslim, I am from Hyderbad (Andhra Pradesh)

I want to apply for SSC (staff selection exam) exam as my age is above the criteria limit.

as there is a provision for OBC, for age relaxation in this regard

i want to clarrify whether i am eligible for getting OBC certificate

My father is govt retired employee, he was class iv employee (attender) in commercial tax department.

My father is getting 8,000 pension per month.

Am i eligible for getting OBC certificate.

and how can i get OBC certificate from central please let me know.

If the community you belong is a Backward class in your state,you can get the obc from the Tehsil office by producing authenticity ie.scool certificates, or affidavits.

OBC list are of two type one applicable for central services (maintained statewise) andpromulgated by central Govt. Thereis another one which is promulgated by State Govt applicable for state govt jobs only.

By the way in which category you were applying before being overage.
