Mutual consent divorce

If a husband and wife are ccontesting a divorce in maharashtra family court  filed by the husband on grounds of adultery, dessertion and mental cruelty, for an year now. Trial about to begin. If the wife decides and agrees for mutual consent divorce now or after 2-3 months, will the mutual divorce also take 6 months or the lawyers of both parties can appeal to get it done earlier? please advise

Yes dear

In mutual concent you may get divorce without  waiting 6 month period. Both of you proved there is no option to live togather or living as a husband wife is impossible.

Now it would be six months.

The trial courts have no power to waive off six months statutory waiting period.
